When you hop onto our website or start eyeing up products, you're agreeing to play by the rules outlined in this policy. If you're not on board with the terms, it's probably best to hold off on making any purchases online or in-store. 

Oh, and heads up: we might tweak these terms now and then, especially as we keep things fresh. So, before you dive in, make sure to give the policy a quick once-over to stay in the loop. 

 

TERMS FOR CANCELLATION, RETURN, AND REFUND OF ORDERS

2.1 Cancellation of Products 

(a) You can cancel orders for Products partially or fully before the shipment is initiated. Once the Product has been shipped, orders cannot be cancelled. 

(b) If you change your mind about an order, you can cancel it by referencing the unique order number and requesting cancellation via email to Woodpecker Furniture (support@woodpeckerfurniture.com). You can also call us at 1800 203 0334.

(c) Upon receipt of the cancellation request, we will cancel the order and initiate the refund within 3 business days or upon product pickup, if applicable. Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used for the purchase, subject to applicable bank/financial institution policies and charges.

(d) Orders for made-to-order products undergo immediate specialized production tailored to your requirements. As a result, cancellations or modifications are not possible once the order is placed. However, our team is available to assist with any concerns you may have. We recommend reviewing product specifications and customization details carefully before placing your order.

(e) For certain products, cancellations are accepted until the product is shipped. Complaints regarding damage and defects raised within 3 days post-delivery are eligible for repair or replacement. 

(f) Made-to-order (MTO) or tailor made products, customized to your needs, cannot be cancelled after placing the order. Complaints regarding damage and defects raised within 3 days post-delivery are eligible for repair or replacement.

(g) This cancellation policy is only applicable for purchases made with shipping location within the Chennai city limits. For cancellation of any purchase outside the city, please contact our team. Any cancellation for outstation purchases will be subject to approval on a case-to-case basis

(h) Cancellation policy for certain products will be mentioned in the individual product page. If not found, this general cancellation policy will be applicable.

 

Product return

You can request a return if:

  1. The product is damaged.
  2. Both the product and shipping package are damaged.
  3. The product is defective or not working.
  4. Parts or accessories are missing.
  5. The product received is different from what was ordered based on the description.
  6. Make sure to initiate your return request within 3 working days from the delivery date.

To ensure a successful return pickup, keep the product unused in its original condition, along with the original invoice, outer box, tags, user manual, warranty cards, and all other parts in the packaging.

Simply register your return request on the website as soon as possible. We'll verify the defects or damages claimed and decide if the return is acceptable. We may ask for images or schedule a visit to assess the damage.

Your return will only be processed if the product is returned in its original condition, with no modifications or damage, and all accessories intact. 

Please note, we won't accept returns if:

  1. You ordered the wrong product or color.
  2. The product belongs to a non-returnable category (like personalized or made-to-order products).
  3. You fail to request a return within 3 working days.
  4. Any damage caused by improper usage, handling, or modifications won't be considered for return.

Refunds for Cancellations:

(a) Refunds are processed only if we've received payment for the product.

(b) Once we verify and assess the returned products, refunds for eligible items will be processed within 7 business days. Your refund will be issued once we confirm the product meets our return conditions, including being in its original condition with all accessories and packaging intact. We won't refund products that don't meet our criteria.

(c) Refunds are not made in cash and will be issued within 7 working days, depending on your chosen payment method. Sometimes, financial institutions may take longer to process refunds. If your refund hasn't been processed by the advised date, feel free to reach out to us for assistance.

(d) Refunds will not include shipping or other applicable charges, except in cases where the product is delivered with a defect or damage accepted by us after verification. In such cases, shipping charges may be refunded. Please note that the refund amount may be less than the purchase value due to deductions for payment gateway and bank charges, as well as other non-refundable fees.

(e) We reserve the right to reject refund requests if the returned product doesn't meet our quality conditions. In such cases, we'll notify you and return the product without issuing a refund.
